Peaks and glaciers Zailiyskiy Alatau
 Talgar peak (H-4973) is the topographical height, (H-5017) – is the commercial height. It is the highest peak of the Northern Tien-Shan and situated between the peaks Aktau on the south-west and Metallurg in the north. The mountainsides are sharp, especially the western with fluctuation of heights in 1500m. The first ascent was in 1935 by V.M. Zimin's group of alpinists.
Avsuk glacier. This glacier is in southern mountainside of Zaili Alatau, in the uppers of the Ili river. The total length is 1,8km, the length of the open area is 1,6km, the area is 1,5sqkm. The surface of the glacier is covered by stones and road-metal. The glacier was named after the soviet geologist Avsuk G.A..
The peak Aktau (H-4754), the peak in Zaili Alatau. The northern and eastern mountainsides are covered with ice. In the northern mountainside – Kroshka glacier, on the eastern mountainside – Korgenevsky glacier. The glacier was ascented in 1938 by the alpinist group by the leading of Plotnikov E.
Aktuz mountain pass (H-4400) is situated in the Mid Talgar. Through this mountain pass passes the way to Korgenevsky glacier.
Dzhambul glacier is situated on the northern mountainside of Zaili Alatau in uppers of the Left Talgar the total length is 3,3km. The area is 2 sq.km.
Dzhambul peak H-4355) is situated on the southern part of the New spur of Zaili Alatau. The first ascent was in 1937 by the group of Kolokolnikov E.M.
Karaulchitau peak (H-3504). The snow-ice mountainsides of the peak reach the sharp of 30-40', in the separate parts to 60'. The peak was ascented from south to east in 1937 by the group of Kolokolnikov E.M..
Korzhenevsky glacier is situated on the northern mountainside of Zaili Alatau in uppers of the Chilik river. It is the largest glacier in the Northern Tien-Shan. The territory is 38km (of the open area is 37,5km), the length is 11,7km (of the area is 11,5km), the capacity of the ice is 6,32km. Since 1959 to 1965 the glacier receded into 89m, e.g. into 14,8m for the year. It was named after the researcher and geographer of Central Asia Korgenevsky N.L., who opened the glacier in 1928.
The Left Talgar river is the western tributory of the Talgar river. It rises in the northern mountainside of Zaili Alatau. It has 76 tributories with the total length 128km (Kluch, Sauryksai, Ulken-Mynzhylky and etc.). The main sources are from the glaciers Konstitutsia, Dmitrieva, Toguzak, Kolesnika. The length of the river is 32km. The width of the channel is 10 - 15mm, the depth is 1,2m.
Shokalsky glacier is situated in the basin of the Talgar river. The length is 4,7 km, the territory is 16,8 sq.km.

Amangeldy peak (H-3999). It is situated on the southern mountainside of Zailii Alatau, in Malay Almatinka spur. The first ascent was in 1939 by V.Zimin.
Abaya peak (H-4010) is situated in Malaya Almatinka spur. It was formed by red granite, it has a shape of 3-heading peak. The western crest is lower to the valley of the Malaya Almatinka river.The glacier is situated on the southern mountainside of the peak. The first ascent was in 1932 by the alpinist G.I.Beloglazov.
Panfilovs hero peak (H-4120) is situated in Azutau mountain, it is the western branch of Malaya Almatinka spur. On the west it is connected with Uchitel peak, on the east with Karlytau peak.
Dzhambul peak (H-4355) is situated in the southern part of New spur of Zailii Alatau. The first ascent was in 1937 by the group of E.M. Kolokolnikov.
Kosmodemyanskaya peak (H-4108) is situated in Kumbel range, which is the western branch of Malaya Almatinka spur in Zailii Alatau. This peak was subdued by the group of alpinist of K.Kuzmin.

Mametova peak (H-4190) is situated in Malaya Almatinka spur in Zailii Alatau in the region of Malaya Almatinka and Left Talgar rivers.
Mayakovskogo peak (H-4208) is situated in the eastern branch of Malaya Almatinka spur in Zailii Alatau range. Its mountainsides are perpendicular (steep), it was formed by red granite. Here is, to the south-east of this mountainside situated the glacier. The first ascent was in 1940 by E.Alexeev.
Mynzhilky dam (H-3020). The length is 300m, the max height is 17m, the width is 6m.
Ordzhonikidze peak (H-4410).
Pogrebetskyi peak (H-4230) is situated in the western branch of Malaya Almatinka spur and Kumbel range. It is the glacier peak.
Talgar mountain pass (H-3200) is situated between Shkolnik (H-3800) and Chimbulak (H-3500) peaks, in the western branch of Azutau in Malaya Almatinka spur. In the territory of Talgar mountain pass is situated Bogdanovich glacier. The path in gorge passes through Malyi Talgarsky mountain pass (H-3000).
Tyuk-Su peak (H-4220). The peak in Malaya Almatinka spur was formed by granits, but was ruined. To the south-east from Tyuk-Su peak is situated mountain pass (H-4100). In the northern mountainside is situated the same name glacier. The first ascent belongs to U.N.Menzhilin.
Tyuk-Su glacier. The central glacier on southern mountainside of Zailii Alatau range, in the upper of Malaya Almatinka river. The length is 3,5km, the width is 1,5km. The average height of snow line is 3040m. The thickness of the glacier is 50m, with max to 100m. The glacier is decrease in 10m in a year.
