Ancient monuments Merva and Kunya-Urgencha
The program:
1 Day. Arrival in Ashgabat. Meet at the airport with guides. Transfer to hotel by car, accommodation. Rest.
Breakfast. Sightseeing tour in Ashgabat with visiting to Ertogrul Gazy Mosque, Arch of Neutrality and Monument of Independence. Visiting and excursion to the National Museum of Turkmenistan and Turkmen Carpet Museum. After lunch transfer to Cable Way “Asma Yoly” and Health Path “Serdar Yoly” (12 km). Ascent by cable way to Kopetdag Mountains. Everyone can admire the beauty of Ashgabat from the bird's eye view, walking environs. Return to Ashgabat. Overnight in the hotel.
2 Day. Breakfast. Transfer to the local bazaar of Jygyldyk “Tolkuchka” (8 km). Visit to bazaar. Return to Ashgabat, visit to Oriental bazaar. After lunch ransfer to Old Nisa – the capital of the ancient Parthian state (15 km). Excursion to ruins Old Nisa. Transfer to Kypchak village and visit to the memorial Complex and Ruhy Mosque (12 km.). Visit to Ruhy Mosque. Return to Asgabat. Dinner with a folklore concert. Transfer to hotel, overnight.
3 Day. Breakfast. Transfer to airport. At 08.00 by flight to Mary town (40 min). Arrival in Mary, visit to ancient Merv. Visiting: monuments the Erk Kala fortress and Mausoleum Muhammed-Ibn-Zeid, Lesser Gyz Kala, Ashabs cenotaphs, Gyaur Kala, Sultan Kala, Mausoleum of Soltan Sanjar, Medieval castles “Keshks”, toms of Guifari and Bureida. Return in Mary. Transfer to airport, flight to Ashgabad, meeting in airport, transfer to hotel, accommodation. Dinner. Overnight.
4 Day. Breakfast. Transfer to airport. At 08.00 by flight to Dashoguz town (40 min). Arrival in Dashoguz. Meeting in airport, transfer to Kunyaurgench (110 km). Visit to the monument of Kunya-Urgench : State Historical and Architectural Reserve – Mausoleums of Tyurabek - Khanym, Soltan Tekesh and ll-Arslan, Nadjmmedi-ibn-Kubra, History Museum , Kutlug-Timur Minaret, Kurk Molla Hill. Transfer: Kunyaurgench - Dashoguz (110 km), for flight to Ashgabat. Arrival in Ashgabat. Meet at the airport. Transfer to hotel, accommodation. Walk on evening city, visiting of avenue of fountains. Overnight.
5 Day. Transfer to airport. Departure from Ashgabat.
